Terms of Service

TavernAPI (tavernapi.com) provides an OpenAI-compatible API gateway and server-locked roleplay presets for SillyTavern. TavernAPI is an independent service and is not affiliated with Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, or SillyTavern.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use TavernAPI. You are responsible for keeping your account login and sk-tav-... API keys confidential. Any usage billed to your API keys is your responsibility.

• Per-token billing & pre-authorization: Usage is billed per token in USD according to the rates on our Pricing page. Each request temporarily holds the estimated maximum cost (including expanded server preset blocks) and refunds the unused difference immediately upon completion.
• Non-expiring pay-as-you-go balance: Paid balance added via standard cryptocurrency top-ups ($5 minimum) or redeem codes never expires while your account remains active.
• 30-day credit packs (30-day expiration, no auto-renewal): Optional discount credit packs ($9 for $10 credit, $19 for $23 credit, and $39 for $48 credit) are one-time manual purchases and never auto-renew. All credit granted by a 30-day credit pack is valid for 30 calendar days from the time of purchase; any unused credit from the pack expires automatically after 30 days.
• Preset access & intellectual property: Standard presets unlock permanently after your first top-up of $5 or more. Pro presets may be purchased standalone for $4.99, used while an active $19 or $39 30-day credit pack is in effect (expiring when the pack expires unless permanently unlocked), or unlocked permanently once cumulative real-money spend reaches $25. Server-side preset content ([[tav:pack/block]]) is proprietary; attempting to extract, dump, or resell locked preset prompts is prohibited.
• Free trial credit: New users receive a one-time $0.30 free trial credit after verifying their email (or signing in with a verified Google or Discord account), valid on Gemini 3.8 Flash and Gemini 4 Argon. Creating multiple accounts to farm trial credit will result in account termination.

Because cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible on-chain and redeem codes, 30-day credit packs, and standalone preset unlocks are digital goods delivered immediately, completed crypto top-ups, credit packs, preset purchases, and redeemed codes are generally non-refundable, and expired 30-day pack credits are not refundable. If an upstream error causes a request to fail before generating output, our system automatically returns the pre-authorized hold to your balance. If you believe you were charged in error due to a bug on our side, contact support@tavernapi.com within 7 days and we will credit your balance.

TavernAPI relies on upstream model providers. While we use official upstream channels and failover routes where possible, we cannot guarantee 100% uninterrupted availability of any specific model. The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid into your account in the 30 days preceding any claim.
